Programs and Events Committee

The Programs and Events Committee is comprised of one Chair, one 1st Vice-Chair, and up to six at large members. The Committee Chair is nominated by the President and approved by the Executive Committee and serves a two-year term.

The Committee Chair cannot serve sequential terms. Half the committee members rotate off each year to allow for new representatives while assuring continuity in operations. Sensitivity will be given to ensure diversity among the committee members.

Committee Responsibilities

The Programs and Events Committee is a Standing Committee of CRRWC. The Committee's duties are to recommend, plan, and coordinate club sponsored campaign activities, CRRWC's bi-monthly Dinner Meetings, and other CRRWC sponsored social events as well as identify and communicate opportunities for members to participate in and support local/state/national Republican candidates.

The Committee recommends policies, procedures, and initiatives to assure CRRWC offers its members relevant, varied and vibrant programs and events that encourage membership participation, increase awareness and knowledge, and supports Republican Party goals.

Goals (2010 - 2012)

Increase membership participation in the Bi-monthly Dinner Meeting by 25%
Develop a 2 year Strategic Plan for club programs and social events
Conduct a membership survey to solicit feedback and ideas
Look at ways we can use technologies to increase and track membership participation in campaign activities, bi-monthly dinner meetings, and social events.
Look at how we currently connect members with each other and suggest options.
