Finance & Fundraising Committee
The Finance and Fundraising Committee is comprised of one Chair, one 1st Vice-Chair, and up to six at large members. The Committee Chair is the Treasurer and will serve a two-year term.
Half the committee members rotate off each year to allow for new representatives while assuring continuity in operations. Sensitivity will be given to ensure diversity among the committee members.
Committee Responsibilities
The Finance and Fundraising Committee is a CCRWC Standing Committee. The Committee's duties are to recommend, plan, and coordinate CRRWC approved fundraising activities, report to the CRRWC President and Executive Committee CRRWC planned expenditures, the collection of membership dues and renewals, the receipt of monies from fundraising activities, the payment of authorized club expenditures and other CRRWC assets.
The Committee participates in the review of the annual budget and policies relating to CCRWC assets. The Committee may be called upon to participate in the selection of service providers and any other responsibility deemed necessary by the Board. The Committee recommends policies, procedures, and initiatives to assure CRRWC is a financially sound organization.
Goals (2010 - 2012)
- Increase Voting membership by 25%
- Develop a 2 year Strategic Plan for retaining and increasing club membership
- Conduct a membership survey to solicit feedback and ideas
- Look at ways we can use technologies to increase financial collections.
- Look at how we currently connect members with each other and suggest options.
