Communications and Publications Committee

The Communications and Publications Committee is to be comprised of one Chair, one 1^st Vice-Chair, and up to six at large members. The Committee Chair will be nominated by the President and approved by the Executive Committee and will serve a two-year term.

The Committee Chair cannot serve sequential terms. Half the committee members rotate off each year to allow for new representatives while assuring continuity in operations. Sensitivity will be given to ensure diversity among the committee members.

Committee Responsibilities

The Communications and Publications Committee is a CRRWC Standing Committee. The Communications Committee's duties are to develop and execute a 2 year strategy for communications to the membership and outside audiences, develop and manage the CRRWC web site and the web site's content, recommend and design external publications and CRRWC advertising.

Goals (2010 - 2012)

Enhance communications to all members and non members through the CRRWC Website and publications.
Oversee and manage CRRWC Web site content to provide timely communications and promote CRRWC goals, activities, and resources to members and non-members.
Develop a 2 year Strategic Plan for communications
Conduct a membership survey to solicit feedback and ideas
Look at ways we can use technologies to improve CRRWC's communication to members and non-members.
Look at how we currently connect members with each other and suggest options.
